Catherine Xu

Catherine is a current MIT freshman in the Class of 2030. She began doing math competitions seriously in 2020, beginning with her junior high’s math team. She attended MOP in 2024 and 2025 and was on the US team at EGMO in 2026, where she won a gold medal. Outside of math, Catherine can be found listening to music and taking walks outside!

Catherine taught Fun + Heights during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years!

Catherine was Community Director during the 2025-2026 school year!

Catherine was also an Athemath student in 2021 and 2022!
